Mr. Reginald Purvis

Welcome Everyone!

        As Director of Bands I would like to encourage each and every parent, friend, and band supporter to become involved with our program.  The 2012-2013 season was a very successful one for all of the different programs and I would like to see the traditions of excellence continue throughout the 2013-2014 school year.  Each member of our organization will have the opportunity to experience many facets of music education, which will in turn enlighten them to the many rewards that are out there for them.  Let us work hard to represent our community and our families with the best musical activities that we can produce.  As always, my door is open if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about anything that we are doing.  Together we can continue the strong tradition of excellence that is the George Washington High School Band!
